Competition Lawyer (3+ years’ PQE)

Competition law is not just about rules. It’s about strategy, pressure and real-time decision-making.

At RTPR, you will work on a broad range of competition matters — from merger control and compliance to investigations, dawn raids and antitrust litigation.

Our team has been involved in many of the most significant competition cases in Romania, including:
  • a landmark ruling before the Court of Justice of the European Union redefining how antitrust fines are calculated across the EU
  • successfully reducing a Competition Council fine by over 85% following CJEU proceedings
  • representing clients in major cartel investigations (including dawn raids), with full exoneration in certain cases
  • high-stakes antitrust litigation, including significant fine reductions (up to ~95%)
Whether you already have experience in competition law or exposure through related areas, this role gives you the opportunity to build a strong foundation and gain hands-on experience in complex and high-stakes matters.
We are looking for a 3+ PQE lawyer who is analytical, curious and eager to develop in competition law. Dispute resolution or intellectual property experience is a major plus.
