Enterprise Investors on merger proceedings regarding acquisition of direct sole control in Noriel group
Electrica in court proceedings in the first “facilitator” case in Romania to date in which the client was fined EUR 2.3 million for allegedly facilitating a cartel between its meter suppliers
Groupama Asigurari in a complex antitrust investigation concerning a potential exchange of commercially sensitive information among the insurance companies in Romania
Two major movies distributors in an investigation carried out by the Romanian Competition Council on the Romanian movies distribution market
The largest leading chain of medical clinics in Romania in a complex investigation launched by the Romanian Competition Council on the maternity and stem cells bank services market. Our client was the only undertaking which was fully exonerated from liability.
Successfully representing Allianz Tiriac Asigurari before the Romanian Competition Council in a cartel investigation which was closed following the rejection of the Investigation Report (which recommended heavy fines) without any sanctions being applied
Successfully representing British American Tobacco in a cartel investigation which lasted over 4 years, including dawn raid proceedings and several rounds of questionnaire and meetings with the authority, which was closed without any sanctions being applied to our client
Successfully representing Tymbark Maspex in court proceedings against the decision of the Romanian Competition Council in a high profile case on the retail market involving also Metro, Selgros and Mega Image. The court of first instance ruled in favour of our client and annulled the decision in full.
